Highspeed Train ‘Afrosiyob’ (max speed 220 km-h) – Samarkand – Tashkent – Talgo – Uz

The new luxury train by Talgo called Afrosiyob operates between Samarkand and Tashkent vice versa. The maximum speed is 220 km/h. Economy, Business and VIP classes are providing the best comfort for a highspeed train travel. The average speed is 140 km/h. The Journey between the cities just takes 2:30 or 2:37 hours.

The staff is serving a snack and the buffet car has a wide range of meals.
Most of the time the train just runs at 160 km/h. But near the Tadjikistan border, between Dashtabad and Khavast, the train reaches 220 km/h for approximately 5 minutes.
