Jon Stewart kicked off Tuesday night’s Daily Show taking on the accusations of sexism leveled by Senator Kirsten Gillibrand recently and couldn’t help but think these old, crusty male senators might be acting just a bit too creepy…
One senator reportedly told Gillibrand she could afford to lose some weight, while two others said they like “chubby” women. Stewart gaped in amazement at these comments and said, “Even when it comes to shitty sexism, the Senate is gridlocked!”
But Stewart also went after Fox News for a segment on catcalling that involved the “one lucky guy” explaining he claps when women walk by and it has a high success rate. But correspondent Jessica Williams explained this is just “the Lincoln Center version of ‘Hey, tits!’” and “getting the horny clap of approval from any guy does not improve my day.”
