Samarkand hosts an International scientific conference on the ‘Historical Heritage of scientists and philosophers of medieval East, its role and importance for modern civilization’
The conference was held with participation of outstanding foreign scientists and experts, representatives of international organizations and diplomatic corps. President Islam Karimov and Mr Hubert Gijzen, Director of UNESCO’s Regional Bureau for Sciences based in Jakarta, opened this International Conference.
